Meet Sellers & Sellers

Don't you just know when you meet someone that you are going to click? Well that's what happened between George Sellers and I. He later added his nephew Ely to the mix.

George is the total renaissance man.

He also happens to be the creator of BuDhaGirl's Animalia Collection. Ely and George have now formed Sellers & Sellers to design and produce these wonderful intriguing creatures of nature.

His exquisitely hand-carved architectural ornaments, sculptures, and furniture collection, are all interpretations of his profound knowledge of art history spiked with his own unique flair. As The Dallas Morning News put it, “his work has the touch of a mad genius.”

George received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art and art history at the University of Texas. After completing his degree, he took off for Italy to further hone his skills as a sculptor by studying at the prestigious Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, as well as apprenticing under master stone carver Blasco Pellicani in Pietrasanta, Italy.

Yes..OK..WOW!!!

What is most extraordinary about George is that he is someone who understands connection. His ability to make you feel like you are the only person in the room, along with his gentle insights makes you want to be his friend instantly. I also admire his role as mentor to Ely, teaching a new generation the skills of great craftsmanship.

Pretty wonderful....and remember: Pause. Be Aware (of the little things around us). Be it.
