We are so excited to start this series of BuDhaGirl's 'Most Wanted' pieces where we will highlight items from our collection and and share styling ideas of how to wear them. Since BuDhaGirl is more than just fashion we also want to share with you the importance of each piece and how they can help keep you in a more mindful state.

Today, we want to introduce you to the KK Crochet necklace in pink. Crochet pieces are "in" as we blogged about here at the beginning of the week so it seemed fitting that we start off with some of our chicest crochet necklaces.  This chenille necklace has two loops of fun pink crochet knots, ending with a lush tassel and our purple Ethiopian cross. It is perfect over light and even bright colors but we love the look best of all with a white button down shirt. Of course, layered over t-shirts would be spectacular as well.  The KK necklace is handcrafted in Zacatecas Mexico, exclusively for BuDhaGirl.

We believe this necklace helps in keeping with your mindful glamor routine because it contains many shades of pink. By being aware of this range of shades  it reminds you there are many  different points of view on one issue. We tend to quickly make conclusions only based on our point of view.  There are really many ways to look at things, sometimes stepping back and trying to see things from another perspective gives us greater range within our decision making.  This is why we love this necklace! Imagine if we were all more open to each other's perspective!  It would be a happier world, indeed.

Here we styled the KK Crochet neklace with the Crochet Christian Scapular in Pink  for a fun pink on pink action. Carnation pink is the backdrop for our Madonna and child scapular which symbolizes great love. Made of 100% cotton yarn it is handcrafted exclusively for BuDhaGirl in Zacatecas, Mexico as well. The scapular is anchored to the rosary chain by a Greek cross that is made in the Aghia Kiriaki monastery on the Cyclades isles. This necklace reminds to be aware of the bond between mother and child as it is the affirmation of pure love. Scapulars are mantles that visually represent some of our closest held beliefs.

Go, Be it.
