Elegance is indeed in the mind. It is the subtle combination of choices to create beauty imbued with contentment.
Why is it that many times the word happy makes us precisely the opposite…not happy? I suppose it is because happiness, the result of being happy, is something we are a bit scared of.

Today, modern life is begging us to simplify; to go back to the “simpler things in life.”
Understanding that we do not and cannot control events and their timing is mastering the first step in patience. Letting go. Things will come when they may. You must be ready to receive them when they do.
How do you choose to live your life? Debit or Credit? Are you pleased with the yield and do you feel safe with the investments that you have made in yourself? Or, do you have to tweak a little?
Doing things is leading a well life. There is wellness in doing. There is great merit in doing things in the service of others. Doing at the end of each day allows you to be at peace when you lay your head down to sleep.
Whatever happened to turning the lights on and looking in the mirror? Whatever happened to self-reflection and a sense of decorum? Whatever happened to having a sense that it is not alright to look and do whatever you want in life…especially at work, in an airplane, in a restaurant, or at the gym??

Our daily inner lives (thoughts) (conversations), are full of wishes…we are full of possibilities. These possibilities however are very much a struggle between good and not so good (bad).
Have you ever stopped to think about what your motives truly are? Yes, that’s right why you think the way you think, say what you say, do what you do, and act like you act…?
Of course today is a celebration at BuDhaGirl…we love pink! We think pink. We see the world through pink colored glasses, and we feel that everything is coming up PINK roses.
