I’d like to teach the world…

My BuDhaGirl journey has given me so very much, but it has also left me with one major frustration:

I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. No wait, that’s the old Coca-Cola slogan. But it resonates very powerfully in my heart. It is not about singing in harmony, it is about living in harmony.

Living in harmony with others and ourselves. Everyday is a wasted opportunity when we don’t strive to take one step, one baby step closer to making the world live in harmony.

I would like to have a megaphone that could be heard around the globe and say:

Pause. Stop. Just stop. Stop it.

Be Aware. Look, for heaven’s sake look!!! What do you see? What do you really see?

Go, Be it. Take a step to change

Because if we don’t….we are doomed to repeat history, and not in a good way.

A fundamental change needs to take place in how we think, how we live, what we consider entertainment, how is it acceptable to treat another person. In a slightly different vein we need to be more self-critical, change our behavior and become accountable, responsible, and that ever-haunting word: entitled, we must seriously stop that. Ouch.
