How I wish I could run this quote every hour on the hour on cable news shows during 2018… Because somehow society has adopted the self-centered, righteous bore! ICK.

We've all been guilty, at one time or another, of obsessing over something. Your boss is an idiot, why just today he/she .... Your yoga teacher got sick and YOU showed up for class! Life is complicated and demanding and well, sometimes it just GETS to you and you need to vent. Remember that guy who had the misfortune to sit next to you on that trans-Atlantic airplane flight? He was a captive audience, and you knew you could chat to your heart's content about corporate malfeasance, politics, religion, your ex…. and not have to worry about ever running into the poor fellow again.

We sit amazed by those who rant and rave over things that are important to them, without ever considering that at times we might just be doing the same. And as I often quote: “people can’t wait to tell you about their religion, but they do not want to hear about yours.”
