If there is one person I can think of who embodies mindful glamour, it's my friend Zoe Tryon. Born into an English aristocratic family (her mother was a confidant of Prince Charles), Zoe Tryon walked into the Amazon jungle in Ecuador and it changed her life forever. From Society girl to explorer, her twitter profile reads: Enviro-babe, indigo-phile, writer, adventurer, student, activist, teacher, nomad, pilgrim.
She is as chic and glamorous in the middle of the jungle as she is at a high society event. Her love of beauty and nature, her practices of meditation, and the deep knowledge she has acquired from Shamans in the Rainforest make her a very mindful person. She is also a woman who loves animal prints, long chandelier earrings and the gold all weather bangles from BudhaGirl. This is what she says about them...
"My golden BudhaGirl bangles are a constant in my life - they really get to put their 'all weather' status to the test with me and I have worn them on incredible adventures. I have developed a ritual that I give a bangle to whom ever asks for one on my trips - below a Kichua indigenous woman from the Northern Ecuadorian Amazon - we were building clean drinking water systems in an area that is contaminatedand she asked for one - and then she said 'now we shall always be connected' so I leave with 9 bangles and usually return with 0!"
