In 1959 when Brigitte Bardot got married to actor Jacques Charrier she wore a pink and white gingham wedding dress! Did you ever see The Philadeldhia Story?  (We love black and white films) Katharine Hepburn wore a fabulous long gingham dress and because of her character, a complex socialite, she elevated this print to be chicer than what it was considered to be at the time. And this Spring designers like Joseph Altuzarra really made gingham standout.  There are some brilliant pieces to update your wardrobe in the stores.  We love this cute gingham shirt which comes in fun shades (we love the lilac especially!) And these flats are so perfect.  We are also coveting this tweed gingham jacket. it is such a classic!
