Our bodies have seven energy centers called Chakras. Life energy flows through these centers and it is important that our Chakras remain healthy throughout our lives so that we may enjoy optimum health, heightened awareness, a sense of inner peace and overall well-being. Root Chakra/Red: Corresponds to our foundation and it gives us the sense of being grounded. It is located at the base of the spine in the tailbone area. It is located on the throat and it's emotional context is about communication, self-expression of feelings, and the truth. The Third Eye Chakra/Purple, corresponds to our ability to focus and to be aware of the bigger picture. It is located on our forehead, between the eyes and it's emotional context is all about Intuition, imagination, and awareness. Lastly, the Crown Chakra/Magenta which corresponds to our ability to be fully connected spiritually. It is located at the very top of the head and it's emotional context is inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality, and enlightenment.
