A BuDhaBoy in Action || Walter Fuentes [Hair and Make-Up Artist]

So, as our name suggests most of our pieces are for women but we do have a men's collection. The BuDhaGirl men's collection uses fabulous manly materials like elk leather and brushed rhodium (view the entire men's collection here). These pieces are easy to wear and help men focus on peace, serenity and in being in the NOW. We also have men who love our all weather bangles like our BuDhaBoy of the month, Walter Fuentes, who likes to wear a few of the silver all weathers with his silver link bracelet. What makes Walter a BuDhaBoy?  Well, to start, he shares the common thread all BuDhaGirls have- he is intelligent, aware, curious, compassionate and is in pursuit of his dreams no matter what. Expressing a love for both hairstyling and make-up artistry, Walter has enjoyed the industry for the last five years. Being born in Dallas, Texas to a Latin family shaped his perception of beauty and aesthetics. While pursuing a degree in architecture at the university of Arlington, he was led to the fashion industry by its design and flair. Once he discovered his love of fashion he completed a degree from The Paul Mitchell Hair Academy and Hollywood make-up academy, where he was formally trained. He has led and created collections for show and print.  We had the luck of working with him during our last photo shoot and we could not have fallen morein love with him!

Walter is not only extremely talented at hairstyling and make-up, but he is also a creative visionary.  He helped us create avant-garde looks and personas for our models and was very hands on during the shoot. He jumped at doing touch-ups between photos, helping with important clothing adjustments, and he proved very knowledgeable about lighting and keeping the model composition balanced.  We can't wait to work with him again because he really was so sweet, warm and fun to work with.  We are so glad Walter loves the Silver All Weather Bangles.
