Featured Store: Patricia Adams Gifts
In February of 1985, a quaint, delightfully eclectic little shop named Patricia Adams opened its doors. Located in what was once the old "Penn Fruit" grocery store in Haverford, Pennsylvania directly across the street from the entrance to Haverford College, Patricia Adams emerged as a trove of interesting gifts, accessories and clothing. Through the years, the shop has been recognized as an award-winning gift destination. Today, Patricia Adams is known as a gathering place where people love to come, pull up a bench, have a laugh or two and simply visit.
BuDhaGirl: Why does BuDhaGirl speak to your customer?
Patricia Adams Gifts: BuDhaGirl speaks to the Patricia Adams customer on many levels. Every piece makes a statement, has a great design element and is perfect for so many of our customers who love a very active lifestyle.
BDG: What trends are you seeing for spring and summer?
PAG: We are seeing a lot of fringe and ruffles and great bold colors this spring.
BDG: What is your favorite BuDhaGirl item?
PAG: While I’m crazy about each and every BuDhaGirl piece we carry - I think my favorites are Gold All Weather Bangles. I love to throw them on with anything I’m wearing and they always look great.
BDG: Why are mindfulness, ritual and intention important to you?
PAG: Mindfulness, ritual and intention are important to me and my family on a daily basis. I have three great kids (ages 12, 15 & 18) who are growing up way too fast. Mindfulness is essential to appreciating family time. Through staying in the moment and maintaining our rituals - even if it’s just our 6:40 am ten-minute family weekday breakfast - we are able to set the tone for the day and make the most of our time together.
