Best vacation...
I tried to answer this question when we (girls at BuDhaGirl) decided to write about our best vacation. And I simply couldn't qualify a "best" vacation, because vacations are different in nature. There are family vacations, husband/wife vacations, off on your own vacations, spa vacations, retreats, etc...
Best vacations are about discovery and growth. Changing something about yourself and how you view the world. Seeing the world with fresh eyes and another point of view. All this can happen in varied places, with or without people, all you need is you. Being present, enjoying the moment and allowing the world (universe) to show you something new.
