Meet Rachael!

Rachael is a hair colorist at PIN Salon and an ultimate BuDhaGirl. Rachael spends her time at the salon making people feel beautiful, and lifting their spirits with infectious laughter and high energy. Not only does Rachael flaunt a unique sense of personal style, but she also lives her life full of mindfulness and joy. Read on to discover the intentions she sets with her All Weather Bangles and where she garners her style inspiration.

How would you describe your style?

I'm a mood dresser, so my style really depends on the day. Some days it's eclectic, other days it's chic and simple. I wear anything from vintage cowboy boots to flowing bohemian dresses and jeans with loafers.

"For Work, my favorite item is the all weather bangle."

What's your favorite BDG item?

For work, definitely the All Weather Bangles - I love the silver and gold mixed set. Outside of work, my favorite piece is the evil eye necklace. Jessica once came into the salon wearing it. Even though the necklace was only a prototype at the time, I couldn't stop gushing about it. Jessica gave it to me last year on my birthday, and now it is one of my most valued treasures!

When you put on your AWB, do you set intentions?

Yes! Since I have a packed schedule every day, setting intentions in the morning helps me start my day on a grounded, peaceful note. Some of the intentions I set for myself are reminders to breathe when in doubt, remain calm, stay patient, be a good communicator and make healthy choices. While it may seem like a lot to BDG novices to set an intention with every bangle every morning, it becomes a precious habit that you can't imagine quitting.

For spring, which BDG pieces are you looking forward to collecting?

Definitely the new Strand Necklaces. I'm pining for the #26 and the #36 - one in every color, please!

Where do you find your style inspiration?

The first thing that comes to mind is Instagram. Scrolling through my Instagram feed allows me to engage with all kinds of style - from fashion to home decor - in a quick and accessible way. Other points of style reference include the Zoe Report, California (my home state!), Free People and Dallas' Gypsy Wagon. I love the colorful, free-flowing, bohemian aesthetic.

Why does BuDhaGirl resonate with you?

Beyond stylishness, BuDhaGirl is more than jewelry - it inspires you to pause, recalibrate and stay true to yourself. In my line of work, it's easy to get carried away with certain conversations. In these moments, I try to stay grounded and speak from the heart. When I'm listening to thoughts or opinions I don't necessarily want to engage with, I can look down at my AWBs and am instantly reminded to be intentional in my thoughts and actions.

Who or what inspires you to live mindfully?

I want to live mindfully and with intention for myself, my family, my friends, and all of the other people I meet throughout the day. In order to feel love from others, you have to radiate it yourself.
