One of our favorite things about autumn is the magnificent array of color. Trees transform in the blink of an eye - a green landscape bursts into shades of yellow, orange and red as the seasons click into place.

The changing colors signal more than a change in season, but a change in mindset, too. With each passing day, we are naturally encouraged to savor the moment, to appreciate the colors before us, and enjoy those fleeting, warm days before winter.

Autumn colors inspire us sartorially as well. As temperatures cool and thoughts turn towards gathering and nesting, we gravitate towards richer colors. Wearing jewel tones like ruby red and emerald green is the perfect complement to the dramatic landscape, and reflects the deeply romantic sentiment of fall.
