Fear less, hope more. Talk less, say more.

“Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; love more and all good things will be yours.” – Swedish Proverb

How can we turn negatives into positives?

The ordinary into the extraordinary?

A habit into a ritual?

Imprinting the positive and sensible in our brain is quite difficult because our instinct constantly tries to sabotage us. How can we change this? Do we have to completely rewire our brains? Maybe.

What’s most important to keep in mind is that the positives in these pairings aren’t any more difficult to acquire than the negative. As you’ll find with anything in life, at any given moment, positive and negatives are available to you in equal amounts. It’s up to you to choose what to focus on, and therefore you're the one that's responsible for magnifying the good (or bad) in your own life.

Any time you find yourself in a situation where you’re drawn to the negative, challenge yourself to think of the equal and opposite positive force. Once you determine the equal and opposite force, put your focus on it, and the negative connotations will fade away.

What are some negative-turned-positive pairings that are relevant in your life? Here are a few common ones that could be added to the list above…

Work less… think more

Criticize less... compliment more

Cry less… express more

Stress less… focus more

Argue less… communicate more

We encourage you to make a custom list for yourself based on your personal experiences and pitfalls. What are some negative things that you encounter in your life? How can you remold or rethink them to be positive instead? Once you create your list, you’ll find that each line will serve as it’s own little reminder.

Next time you put on your All Weather Bangles, devote one bangle to each negative-turned-positive reminder that you’ve written. If all else fails, remember: less mindlessness, more mindfulness. When you can change your mindset, you can change your life.

Are you ready for the challenge? We are.
