Televisions are everywhere we go, earphones have become another dress accessory, and over-stimulation in general have made us forget what silence even sounds like. There is nothing more inspiring than being able to hear yourself think for a change. Magnificent ideas will not come from noise and neither will inner peace and tranquility. Silence encourages reflection and contemplation. We can only be better human beings by being more mindful of creating more moments of silence.
